We are using the latest in glass technology at JDS Manufacturing to work with the many different products we make. We strive to use the fewest number of trips to the furnace as possible. We can assure the best quality possible for these products. The more firings one uses when making Chemical equipment the more quality issues you have. This is being accomplished by novel techniques in rheology. We get finished thicknesses between 1 and 1.5 mm ( 0.040" and 0.060") on every part. This new technology assures uniformly dense coatings with the fewer numbers of furnace cycles.
Looking at the industry demand, JDS Manufacturing has developed a specially formulated enamel which is made from Quartz, Feldspar, Zircon, Soda, metal oxides and flux which are melted at 1400 °C in a controlled environment. Extensive testing and fine-tuning of the ratio of the ingredients was done in order to maximize the corrosion resistance properties of Glass against acids and alkalis, Thermal shock and Abrasion resistance properties as per DIN ISO 2743, DIN ISO 2745, DIN 51174.
To ensure quality, raw material selection and testing is continually done as per our internally strictly defined specifications and metallurgical requirements to achieve the best enamel to metal adhesion.
Extensive internal testing, factory standards and specific company stipulations ensure safety and durability of our all products.
